Meet Robbie!
The birth story in a nutshell:

Induced Tuesday - Dec. 6th because of PUPPS rash (an awful thing), Water Broke 4:10 pm, BUT after lots of pitocin, cytotec and foley bag.... He was not coming..... so C-section it was. The Dr. said the cord was wrapped around his neck so he was not coming on his own. We are glad he is here!

Robbie came Wednesday - Dec. 7th @ 8:32 pm

I was in charge of our Halloween party at church. There were 350 people! It was crazy to get ready but so fun!

My boss threw me a surprise baby shower at work! It was so nice!

My beauties J and Kim threw me a shower on Saturday! It was so much fun!

Before we left D.C. for the summer, I was having a 9 week pregnancy craving for Cafe Rio. I was so sad in thinking they were all out West. On a whim I decided to look at the website and just drool at the pictures..... I happened to come across a location about 50 min from here in Olney, Maryland! I FREAKED out!! B and I got in the car the next day and took my friend J to experience the goodness!

She was hooked! This summer she found a close location in Manassas, VA! So we went there on Wednesday for her Birthday!

Tuesday we had an earthquake (5.8) in Mineral, VA that rocked our world up here in the North. I was at work on the 2nd floor and B and Layla were home. We are all doing fine, but there was some significant damage done to some sites in D.C. and also some minor damage to the D.C. LDS Temple.

Now Hurricane Irene was supposed to blast through the D.C. metro area and be scary, but we just ended up with some wind taking down a few branches and it raining consistently through the night. Outside our front window...

Needless to say, we are alive and survived Mother Nature's anger!

Maybe this whole baby thing will get me motivated to blog again. Since baby Robbie is due December 19th that gives me about 4 months to get it together! Here is a little recap...

1. We spent the Summer in Gillette, Wyoming while B had a paid internship with a law firm.
2. I spent the summer hanging out with my family and planting lots of veggies and flowers.
3. Layla (the 1.5 year old puppy) spent her days with her BFF Boston (my family's dog).
4. We are in Phoenix with B's family, spending our last week of freedom before returning to Virginia.
5.With the pending arrival of Baby Pyper, we are slowly getting used to the idea that there will be a small living thing that we have to feed, sleep, change, etc. - but its not a dog...

A New Leaf??

I have been hearing lately that we are horrible bloggers.... Which is true. So here we go!

We are turning over a new leaf and I am going to blog more about our time out here.

1. Bobby starts his 2nd year of Law School today!
2. We love our new puppy - Layla!!

4. Summer is almost over and I can't believe it.
5. We are missing Stacey and Tyson and the babies so much, but are glad that they are having a good time!

We are so excited to be moving to a new place!

Total Positives: Saving lots of $$, No more 15 stories up, Storage Unit included with Rent, Grass, Trees and Paths!!!, Closer to Bobby's school and in an awesome part of town!

Negatives: Smaller and older - so we felt like for all of the great things we are getting that it is so worth it and we can live in a little smaller/older space!

Our New Baby.....Layla and Dirty Midnight Riding!

We rescued Layla(named after Layla Ali - cause she is a fighter!!) on Tuesday! She was thrown in a dumpster with her sister and left there to die. She was posted on Craigslist and we loved her pictures and story so much we had to save her. So we drove to Lynchburg (3.5 hours away) and picked her up from the lady who saved her. She was so scared and was shaking for most of the ride home. She ended up sleeping a lot of the way and just cuddled on my lap. She is so loving and so cute. We are not sure how old she is but we think close to14 weeks. She is 8 lbs and called a "Jack-A-Bee" (a mix between a jack russell terrier and beagle). She is so smart and going potty outside already. We LOVE her!! And Micah and Hallie are in love with her and give her lots of kisses!

Stacey and I have started to train for our tri-a-thalon the end of the summer. We have been biking a lot and love riding at night and in the rain! Tonight we were out and got so muddy riding through a hail/rain storm. I was so muddy all over from our 20 mile ride. It was so fun!

I love this person so much... She know who she is.... but I want her to know I LOVE her so much and my heart breaks for her. I miss her and she seriously is the person who was meant to be my BFF. 1. I recently found a new office to work in and I LOVE it! The people I work with are awesome and the doctor is great. I love my job!

2. Bobby has been studying like crazy... He is getting ready for finals that start the beginning of December.

3. We both have callings: Bobby is a teacher in the EQ, and I am on the new member committee for RS. I really am so excited to get to know all of the new girls that move into our ward.

4. Due to my new job and work schedule.... We are staying out here for the holidays. We are sad that we won't be seeing our friends and family but excited to start some of our own new traditions.

5. The Orange Plum has been working so hard on getting our new and improved headbands up for sale. We are still having our clearance section until next week.

6. We are so happy that Tyson, Stacey and the twins will be staying here permanently. Tyson got a new job in Arlington and so they will be moving closer to us! Yah!

7. We are going tomorrow with a bunch of friends to watch the Utah game!! We are so excited that there are other crazy Utah fans out here! GO UTES!

8. I just want to say.... I HATE the Yankees!

9. We are going to Philly for Thanksgiving to spend with the Carr's and we are so excited! We love Brinley and love when they come on the weekends to stay over and visit!

10. We still LOVE visitors... so if you are wanting a free place to sleep in D.C. we have a sweet air mattress and we will even cook you breakfast!

1. We spent last week in Maryland because poor Hallie has a broken femur! READ HERE!

2. We paid our first rent check....OUCH!

3. We got our first tuition statement for law school...... Another OUCH!

4. I started this week working full-time!!! AHHH!!!

5. We spent last weekend with some of our friends at an amusement park called King's Dominion.

6. I am going to Utah in September for the wedding of my BFF from hygiene school!

7. We are still getting to know our way around the city. But we LOVE it.

8. The Orange Plum has been closed down but is getting so many emails to reopen. Perhaps by the end of the week I can get my stuff together to start it up again!

9. I have been making dinner a lot more lately... Weird I know! Last night was a delicious veggie lasagna!

10. Bobby is getting ready for orientation on the 14th, then he starts law school. I think we are READY?????

We have arrived and are pretty much moved into our apartment! My mom and sister came out and spent last week with us getting things ready and seeing all of the sights! We miss them already!

So far we have....

1. Seen most of the D.C. sights
2. I love working as a hygienist!
3. Bobby is having a great time exploring the city and getting ready for law school!
4. We love our building and went to our ward for the first time Sunday.
5. We love hanging out on the weekends with the Thomsons!

We are so excited. Our building is on top of a mall and the metro stop. That means no walking or standing outside in the freezing winter to ride the metro. Friday- To start the weekend off..... I got my last scores from my boards and I PASSED!!! It was so nice to not have to worry about it coming over the weekend!

Saturday- My B-E-A-utiful mom and dad sent me tons of mini gerber daisies! They are so gorgeous.

Saturday and Sunday- We spent last weekend at the cabin with our amazing friends! My BFF Amy and I stopped at the outlets on the way up and I got just a "couple" of things from Banana (I couldn't resist, it was my birthday!) It was so much fun. They all made me an awesome breakfast on Sunday morning - it was delish! I loved having everyone there and playing games, pool, roasting smore's and watching movies!

Sorry Amy - I had to get you back for goofy blog pics! :)

Sunday - My amazing aunt had a fantastic birthday dinner prepared. Complete with amazing Costco chocolate cake! She is the best and we are truly going to miss her when we leave.

Monday- My BFF Amanda and her fiance Tony took me to dinner! She bought me an awesome shirt from Banana (my favorite store ever!) and some yummy chocolates!

It was so nice to spend my birthday with our dear friends and family! Thanks everyone!

So here goes my attempt at 10 on 'Thursday' (I was too busy Tuesday). I gotta get back into the swing of things...

1. Arizona was warm and awesome. I didn't get over 100 while we were there so it made it enjoyable. The pool is a must in Arizona!!

2. We were able to see Tyson, Stacey and the twins and Aaron. They are my cousins from out of town and it was so nice to spend Tuesday night with them.

3. We spend last night with our bestest friends having a BBQ and watching the game.

4. I still haven't heard back on my last clinical board scores! It is really frustrating having to wait for them. I can't apply completely for my licence in Virginia until I have them.

5. We are going in June to look for an apartment! We are nervous and excited to see what we will find. It's so dang expensive!

6. The job hunt is not my favorite. It is hard just doing Internet searches of available jobs. I wish we were there already!

7. Sunday is my 24th Birthday and WOW am I feeling old! I think that next year I might cry the whole week.

8. My BFF Amanda is engaged!! She is getting married in September and I am so happy for her.

9. My basketball league is almost over and I am thinking of playing in the next when until we move.

10. I LOVE not having homework to worry about. It is the first time I can do things I want without feeling guilty! It's a great feeling.

We are both so glad to be done with school! I am so glad to be done with boards! I found out that I passed my National written board, Local Anesthesia written and clinical and we are awaiting my scores for my Western Regional Clinical (they said it should arrive in about 4 weeks from yesterday). Thanks to all of our friends and family who have been there supporting us! We are excited to start out new adventure in Washington D.C. Bobby was accepted to George Mason Law and is on the wait-list at George Washington Law. We are really excited to be moving this summer!

I am finishing up my last semester and getting ready to finish my thesis, present my thesis, find a board patient, take my boards, be a good wife, work, clean my house, be a good leader in YW, fill the orders from my business, go to the gym, graduate etc. etc. etc. - so I have determined that for my sanity I am taking a leave of absence from our blog for a while. Sorry for all you avid readers out there who are just going to die because you won't be able to read Ten on Tuesday - ha ha! I will be returning periodically, but most likely for only really BIG updates.

Anniversary!

We were really lucky this year. Tuesday we were both off school and took the day to go skiing together. It was so much fun and the weather was nice and the powder was awesome! Here we are in our goofy goggles!

Wednesday was our actual anniversary and we went to TEPANYAKI! It is my favorite and one opened up close to us in Salt Lake. It was so yummy!! Then we headed over to The Cheescake Factory for dessert! It was such a fun night. Bobby surprised me (even though we said no gifts) and he replaced my bracelet that I lost. Ten on Tuesday!

1. Wednesday we went for YW to listen to a presentation by Alicia from Chic on a shoestring. She was so great! I want to set up a consult with her sooo bad!

2. We wanted to say Happy Birthday to Carys!! She is my cousins little girl and last week she turned 5! They are all growing up so fast.

3. We a date night Thursday night and watched Traitor. It was excellent!

4. Friday afternoon I went up and volunteered for the Special Olympics of Utah at Powder Mountain. It was so much fun. If I lived here next year I would totally be up there again for both days being an escort!

5. Saturday we hung out with our friends The Asper's and got to meet baby Lachlan. It was so good to see them.

6. Sunday was such a fun Superbowl Party with our awesome friends! We decided that they are flying out wherever we live for next years Superbowl! :)

7. Congrats to my cousin Angela on her 2nd pregnancy!

8. We are counting down the days to May! We are both starting to check-out and get so ready to be done and graduated!

9. We are planning a trip to SF in April to visit Bobby's family and be out there for his sister Laura's graduation! I love it out there!

10. If you have not been to a Shoe Carnival you must go! I got these hundred dollar boots for $15! They are so stinking cute!

Some awesome things regarding D.C.

WE.....
1. Learned that flying into O'Hare SUCKS, and that American Airlines is garbage too! After a flight cancellation and 8 hour delay for our connecting flight - we found out what everyone is talking about in regards to flying into Chicago!!

2. Learned the metro system and only got lost once - We met some crazies on the train that had their "two front teeth knocked out and needed 120 mg of Methadone" - slightly scary but worth a really good laugh!

3. Found out that GMU's and George Washington's law campus' are downtown areas right off the metro line! William and Mary is further away but still do-able if I had too! :)

4. Experienced the walk through the mall and all of downtown D.C.

5. Realized Obama's inauguration was a HUGE deal and there were thousands and thousands of people there!! INSANE!

6. Discovered Le Madeline , thanks to Stacey (my cousins wife). My new favorite place to eat!!

7. Decided that D.C. would be an awesome place to LIVE!

8. Stood in awe at The Lincoln and all that Mt. Vernon had to offer!

9. Realized quickly that Maps and GPS are a MUST to navigate ANYWHERE!

10. Found out that being in D.C. on the coldest day in the past 10 years was not so spectacular.... in fact it was friggin cold!! I had to go to Target and buy thermals to go under my jeans!

11. Remembered that being close to family is awesome and that we loved being able to spend time with my cousin and his B-E-A-utiful family!!

12. Miss being back there already and seeing all the sites, eating yummy food, hanging out with great family and not having to worry about school!!

TEN on Tuesday!

1. My good friend Megan had her baby shower on Saturday. It was sports themed, so I made cupcakes with green frosting and sprinkles with a gold tee. They turned out cute.

2. Bobby's family was in town and it was so great to see all of them and eat a delicious breakfast together.

3. We had the best time Friday night hanging out with our friends the Magill's. We sure are going to miss them when we leave.

4. We played the coolest game on the Wii. It was called New Blood. You are able to surgery. It makes me want a Wii sooo bad!

5. We are leaving for D.C. on Thursday! Yah!!

6. Last night we spent it cleaning out our backroom and throwing away half our stuff. It was so nice to get it done.

7. Qwest is great this month. Like I have said I usually have a LOVE/HATE relationship with them and right now it's love.

8. We finally took down all of our Christmas stuff!

Back to the books!

1. This week was hard to go back to school. I am just ready to get it over with and be done in May... yeah!!

2. Bobby came home yesterday with a Moleskine travel book for D.C. It is so awesome! It has tons of maps and shows the metro system and lots of other awesome things. I am getting so excited to go and visit!

3. It was nice to come back home and sleep in our own bed! We loved being gone and seeing family but after being gone for 2 weeks on Christmas break it was nice to come home.

4. I LOVE the biggest loser! I will miss the opener tonight due to a meeting - but I am getting geared up to watch this season!

5. Taking down the Christmas! I still have yet to find time to take the decorations and tree down but I am really ready for this great year ahead of us! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

TEN on Tuesday!

1. First we are taking a trip to D.C. - We found some flights for an awesome deal and decided to use the rest of our Christmas money to book a trip over MLK day! We are so excited to spend the time visiting the 2 law schools Bobby is interested in, seeing all of the sites and of course spending some time with my cousins and the twins!!

2. Christmas was great, even though it was in WYOMING. We have done everything that can be termed "Christmasy" - We started with making Gingerbread houses.

3. Then my Mom taught me to make Rolls. We also had my favorite Wisconsin Cauliflower soup (from Zupas - I found a recipe online and it turned out yummy!)

4. Then we made some yummy Cinnamon rolls.

5. My mom is amazing at making candy. My Uncle used to own an upscale chocolate shop in Foothill and she learned from the master! So we made some caramels, truffles, our version of Mackintosh caramel (a Canadian candy), raspberry cordials and english toffee. YUM!

6. We of course had to open our Christmas Eve jammies. I now have matching pairs with both sides of my family! :)

7. As per our tradition, we reinacted the Christmas story. This usually makes for a night of laughs and this year didn't disappoint thanks to Abi's surprise make-up job - she looks like a creep.

8. I got lots of good things for Christmas, my favorite being a new ipod docking station/player. Bobby's favorite thing was a pen set that included a fountain pen.

9. We have spent the time up here being lazy, watching lots of movies, I made a cute purse with my Mom, playing the Wii, traveling to Casper and Rapid City to shop!

10. We are leaving to come home on Saturday and then we are back to hitting the books!!

1. Tuesday we had a pizza/movie date night. We bought the new Batman movie!! Yummy... thank you Christian Bale!

2. Wednesday was Bobby's first filling at the dentist. It is so crazy that in 25 years he has never had a cavity!

3. Abi flew out to Gillette on Thursday. It really is quiet! :)

4. Baby spud was born and she is named London Ciel Swenson. She is so cute!!

5. We made homemade ice cream in our ice cream maker! It was delish.

6. We went to Ikea and had a great time looking around.

7. We made Sugar cookies and frosted them on Sunday. They remind me of Christmas!

8. This is the last week of school for Bobby he is done on Thursday!

9. Last night we went to visit Daxton. He was born no too long ago. He was a cutie!

10. My camera is coming home! I did not realize how much I use my camera.

1. We had our annual Moses family Christmas Party on Saturday! It was so good!

2. Our decorations and tree went up on Sunday. I watched Elf and drank hot chocolate while doing it.

1. I had planned on having pictures posted of our exciting weekend, but my camera is broken and being shipped to Casio for repair! :(

2. Thanksgiving was awesome! We LOVE our family! We LOVE the food! We LOVE the day after shopping! We LOVE the football! We also learned we LOVE Apples to Apples!

3. We celebrated Bobby's brother's birthday last weekend. He is 16 TODAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX! It was fun.

4. The drive to Arizona sucked! I am pretty sure we will be flying from now on.

5. Saturday we went bowling with the family. It was so much fun - I love bowling and Bobby doesn't so we don't get to go very often - but it was a blast!

6. TIM TAMS have arrived!! I Love them and they are now available at Target! You can read more about the deliciousness and my fav the Tim Tam slam - here at my cousins blog!

7. I also have another treat that I love - it is pink grapefruit gummies from Harry and David's! They are so delicious!

8. We loved seeing Ang, Tommy and Jack last weekend. Thanks guys for helping us with our crappy car! :)

9. FINALS are here! I am done on Friday and Bobby the next week. YEAH!! only one semester left and then we graduate!

10. I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with QWEST. I swear they are always messing up on our bill so I HATE and then they waive all of our fees so I LOVE. I just wish it would be right the first time.

A Boring Ten!

1. GO UTES!!! What an awesome game - they so deserve to be higher than 6 but that is just how lame the BCS is!

2. We redboxed "Run Fatboy Run" on Friday and weren't expecting a lot but it ended up being really funny.

3. School is almost out for the Winter!!! I am done with everything on the 5th - I can't wait!

4. We are on 3 Nephi 7 - My family reads the Book of Mormon every fall and finishes on Christmas Eve. We started late but are still on track.

5. My camera has not been working lately. I took it to Costco to try and return it and found out I was just 1.5 weeks late of the return policy!! BOOO So I have been having to talk to tech support over the phone. Hopefully it gets resolved!

7. We have been wanting to add LegalSounds for a while and just got around to doing it last weekend. It is great!

8. Abi has been having some crazy roommate drama so she has lived with us for about 2.5 weeks now.

1. My good friend Eliza got married on Saturday! It was great to be there with her in the temple.

2. Friday night Bobby turned in the last of his applications to law school - No we just wait.....

3. To celebrate we went out to dinner and a movie with our friends. We went to Sushi (I had edamame and Bobby was in heaven).

4. I am so sad that Celine is canceled!!! BOOOO! Since I bought my ticket a year ago, I was looking forward to seeing her - I will now have to wait until the end of Feb!!!

5. The Orange Plum is going to its first craft boutique! Yeah! This is so exciting - I have just been working on getting everything ready.

6. Last night we went to shoot guns at the shooting range - Abi said "this is crappy! Family fun night has turned into family gun night!!" We thought it was really fun!

7. Today Bobby is coming into the clinic to get his teeth cleaned! It will be exciting!

8. My cousin Maggie had a baby on Friday night - she wasn't even 6 lbs. she was really small but healthy! We are excited for them.

9. Scream yeah for paying $1.80 for gas!! It is going to be so nice driving for the holidays.

1. Abi and I went up to school this weekend and I was able to throw on the wheel. It was so much fun - it had been about 5 years since I had thrown on the wheel. I made a pretty sweet bowl.

3. I can't WAIT for THANKSGIVING! I love this time of year!

4. My YW lesson on Sunday was about marriage - it was tricky but I think we pulled it off alright.

1. I dressed up as a lady bug for my school Halloween Party

2. On Halloween we finally found all of the pieces to put Abi’s costume together – She was Juno!

3. Saturday we spent in Park City shopping around at the Outlets – This is me envying this expensive coat from J. Crew!

4. Abi spent this weekend sewing a quilt –weird we have turned into seamstresses!

5. Monday night Abi and I went to a big pre-election concert at the U. The Brobecks were playing (they are my favorite local band!) along with The Maine and Phantom Planet. It was so much fun.

6. Booo for the snow! I am ready for Christmas – just not the snow!

7. I am also ready for Thanksgiving in Arizona! The weather will be warm! :)

8. I made these shirts for the election so Bobby and I wore matching political shirts yesterday!

9. Yesterday we had an election party! With pizza and flag sugar cookies.

1. Saturday was BUSY!

2. Saturday I took a practice proctored DAT (Dental Admissions Test) at the U with my hygiene friend Amanda. We took it for fun and I get my score today - so we'll see.

3. Then Saturday afternoon I drove to Layton to my friend KK's baby shower. It was fun to see her big belly. :)

4. Saturday night was Trunk or Treat at our ward. I wanted to go because I love Halloween and to give the kids candy - and where we live we don't have a lot of kids on Halloween.

5. Bobby is finishing up all of his applications for law school. So we should know by hopefully January!

6. I started making and selling baby blankets on my etsy store. I think they turned out really cute and they are such a great gift. Here is one that is for sale:

7. I am so excited for Friday! I will dress-up at school and hopefully Bobby and I can do something fun like carve pumpkins and make caramel apples.

We are just busy with school, work and life so sorry we have only had 1/2 the past couple of weeks.

1. Wyoming was Wyoming! It was windy but warm. It was fun to see the fam and be there for Ben's b-day.

2. We spent Saturday at Mount Rushmore. This time we took the hike that gets closer to the mountain. It was awesome!

3. We also went to an indoor water park. They had some really cool water slides - it was really fun.

4. I had my first 'Mockboard' for at school today. It was crazy to think that at the beginning of May I will graduate and take my boards to get my licence! I can't wait.

5. Tomorrow for Young Women's we are going to Gardner Village for the witch festival. I have always wanted to go but for some reason never could talk Bobby in to going with me.... I wonder why! ;)

1. Thursday we went to the Jazz pre-season game against the Suns! We are excited for the season to start.

2. Saturday we had a small shower for Jess. Amy did all of the work because I am so busy with school. She did such an awesome job. It was really fun!

4. My Dad was in town tonight so we were able to see him and spend some time with my grandma.

5. We are headed to Wyoming for Fall Break. It doesn't sound very exciting but we are headed up for my little brother's 12 b-day!

1. We are loving this cold weather! Yeah for the breeze and rain!!

2. I realized this week that I miss playing in my basketball league. Hopefully I will start it up again sometime soon.

3. Bobby is now working for our friend. He is getting paid to help him finish his basement. It will be nice to have some more cash coming in.

4. We have made a goal to make dinner at home each night - so far we are 2 for 2.

5. I am planning on putting our Halloween decorations up this week! I am so glad it is fall!

6. We just had to replace our battery in the Alero. We've been lucky, it had been almost 8 years without ever having to replace it.

7. We loved having The Asper's over for our traditional breakfast on conference morning!

8. We also had our traditional conference waffles with my family! They were yummy and it was fun to see them.

9. This weekend a good friend and I are throwing a small baby shower for our cute prego friend. I will be sure to tell you how it goes.

1. Last week we went to dinner with some of our favorite people! We love hanging out with them!

2. Scream Yeah for THE OFFICE! We are so glad that it is back on Thursday nights!

3. My Aunt Peggy is such a trooper - we were able to go and see her on Saturday. She just had surgery for the cancer she has been diagnosed with! I love her so much, she is one of my HEROES!

4. The mighty mighty Wildcats lost last weekend :( That is about the only time I have had any sort of school pride for athletics - but I am glad the U was able to pull it off - It was closer than any U fan would have liked.

5. We are looking forward to Conference Weekend. I love spending Sunday in my jammies eating a delicious breakfast!

1. We have been house sitting for some people in Draper. They live at the top of South Mountain. The view is spectacular - the commute to Ogden horrid!

2. Last weekend we moved my Grandma into a smaller apartment complex - where there are nurses around the clock. Hopefully this will help her start feeling better?

3. My Mom and Dad got back from Hawaii. Maybe one day we will go!

4. Last Tuesday we had a BBQ with our friends. It was sort of a late birthday celebration for Bobby. It was fun to spend the evening with them.

5. Wednesday night we spent almost 4 hours at a Law school Admissions workshop. Most of it was really interesting and informative.

6. Go Utes! Although they are playing the mighty Wildcats this weekend. We'll see what happens - wouldn't that be great if my school beat Bobby's?

7. Last week we started our first exams of the semester. Both Bobby and I have been feeling more relaxed about school this year. It's a nice change!

8. My headbands are still selling really well. It has been a bit harder to get everything done with school - but I am managing it pretty good.

9. I am loving these gas prices lately!

10. Last weekend Bobby's mom was here for the Scrapbook Expo! It was so nice to see her!

1. We have loved spending time taking care of Moose (our cousins, finance's dog - If that isn't confusing enough) - Bobby thinks that we need a dog for sure.

1. It is Bobby's birthday on Friday - he is an old man now. JK He wants an iTouch so we are waiting until they hopefully go down in price a bit.

2. My shoe party was great! Thanks to all who came.

3. My Dad will be in town tonight - I am excited to see him.

4. I love having Abi just 45 min. away. It has been nice having her with us these past weekends!

5. School is so GREAT right now! I love being in my second year.

6. I love this cooler weather - I love being able to wear jeans and a sweater.

7. My mom and dad (and most of my extended family) are going to Hawaii for 10 days! I am so jealous.

8. We are watching my cousin and his fiance's dog while they are in Hawaii. It will be fun to have a dog for a while.

9. My grandma is not doing so well. It is getting hard for her to walk and be on her own. I hope we can find a good place for her to be.

1. We went last week for YW to the Beehive house. It was fun to take a tour and get to know more about Brigham Young and his family life.
2. We saw Hancock on Friday night. It was not my favorite.
3. Abi spent the long holiday weekend with us. It was fun to have her hang out with us.
4. We spent all day Sunday watching Robin Hood Season 2. Our favorite TV series (other than The Office) - It is on the BBC though so we have to wait until it comes out on DVD.
5. We went Saturday night with my BFF Amanda and her friend Tony to the Spaghetti Factory. It was yummy!
6. We went Sunday night and had smore's with the compound (a bunch of our friends and family that live in an apartment complex.) We love smores's and are going to miss them when the winter months come.
7. My new goals are to make it to the gym at least 3 times a week and only have 3 diet pepsi's a week.
8. Yesterday morning we cleaned the house. It was lovely! :)
9. Last night we went to Gateway and looked at the furniture that "Love Sac" sells. We are sold on the idea, just not the price.
10. I am getting excited for my shoe party this Saturday at 6pm. I hope everyone can make it! Let me know if you need directions.

1. We started off last week with Bobby at Scout Camp from Monday to Saturday. But he surprised me and came home early on Friday! :)

2. Saturday we attended a wedding for my good friends Scott and Heather! They have been together for almost 5 years and it feels like they are already married - but it was so exciting to be there!

3. I am not ready to go back to school! My 4 month summer vacation went by WAY WAY too fast!! :(

4. Today we are on our way to Lagoon with the our friends. It will be Bobby's first time (at Lagoon) so I think it will be fun.

5. Thursday/Friday/Saturday: we have 3 weddings to attend. The last two are just the receptions so that should be okay. We are really excited to see our extended family on Thursday for Bobby's cousins wedding!

TOMORROW is our blog's BIRTHDAY!! We have made it one year! (minus the ridiculous feathers, we LOVE this cake)
1. First off we have a new layout and I am not sure if I LOVE it yet. Anyway it is from LeeLou blogs.

2. This weekend we had one of our many weddings to attend. It was for my cousin Cameron and his wife Amanda.

3. My family was in town all week for the wedding. It was so fun to have them here and get to spend time together.

4. Saturday was my 1 month mark for my Headband Store. I have loved running this business.

5. I recently put up an ad on Seriously, So Blessed. It gets a ton of hits regularly so I thought it might be worth a try. It is a spoof on Mormon blogs. I think that it is pretty hilarious!

6. We ate at Bucca di Beppo with my fam. We ate in the kitchen booth. It was so fun and delish!

7. Bobby is gone this whole week to Bear Lake for Scout Camp. It has been good for me to have the nights to spend making headbands and filling my daily orders.

8. Yesterday was my first orientation day (of several) for school. We are working in the dental clinic at the VA hospital so we had to do our training to get acquainted with their system.

9. We recently added to our family. Ok it was just 2 Betta fish. We bought two female Betta's and named them Lily and Stella. Stella however died on Saturday. So with my 14 day money back guarantee I turned her back in.

1. We had a great time on our separate vacations – I was sad to come back to real life.

2. I spent my time in Washington with family, friends the new baby and fishing the Yakima! It was a blast. I miss them already.

3. Bobby spent his time in Vegas with family, golfing and eating good food.

4. I hated going back to work yesterday!! :(

5. This is the last week of summer semester for Bobby. He is finishing up his finals and then we have most of August to relax until school starts the 25th!

6. We have 4 weddings to attend in 3 weeks. I swear they come in spurts.

7. I can’t believe how fast the summer has flown buy – I am sad to go back to school.

8. I am buying a sewing machine for my headbands this week. I am really excited about this (did you ever think you would hear me say that??)

9. I have been on a soda kick lately. Diet, caffeine free of course. But I love the carbonation – it is what gets me through the work day!

10.This week’s new recipe was General Tsao’s Chicken. We made it yesterday – it was De-lish!

Three on Thursday

1. I am in Washington visiting my cousins and their families. The year before I met Bobby, I lived with one of them for about 5 months in between college semesters. I loved my time spent here and haven't seen them since I got married. I met their 3 year old Jocelyn and their new baby boy Eben. I was able to be there for his birth - it was such a crazy cool experience! I totally thought I was going to freak out and I wasn't even sure if I wanted to be there - but I was so glad that I was and it was amazing.

2. Bobby is spending this weekend in Las Vegas with his little brother. His family is moving from Vegas to Scottsdale, AZ at the end of this month and so he is off to spend some time with them.

3. Nothing else really to tell - I just thought Three sounded better than Two on Thursday - LOL!

2. I have HEADBANDS coming out my ears! So I know you will probably get sick of hearing about my headbands – but it is the main thing that I am focused on lately! I have sold more than I thought I would in the first week and a half!!

3. Friday and Saturday I spent 20 hours volunteering my time to get my senior service hours completed. It was good to be back doing something dental!

4. Bobby was at Youth Conference all weekend. They went to Camp Williams and had a lot of fun. I was bummed that I didn’t get to go.

5. My friend Kay is staying with us this week. She is starting her Master’s program up at the U. I am glad that I get to see her and spend some time with her.

6. I leave for Washington one week from tomorrow!! I am so excited I can’t even stand it! I can’t wait to see EVERYONE again and meet Jocey and hopefully the new baby boy! Scream Yeah for me!!

7. Abi is a chipmunk!! Ok not really… but she just got her wisdom teeth out and my mom said she’s got some pretty chubby cheeks going on!

8. So Thursday I was at home and heard this loud crash followed by more loud noises. I was so scared I thought a plane had landed in my backyard. I went outside to find that a semi had driven through our street and caught the power lines. It uprooted and crashed two tall towers and pulled all the electrical wiring out from the backs of our houses. The lines had been pulled out of ¾ of our street. It was such a freak thing and such a mess! They finally have the power fixed but we are still without a house phone and the internet! I will have to get the pics from my cousin.

9. The only time I ever had allergies was when we visited San Francisco the summer after we were married. But this year I am dying! I have had a runny nose, itchy eyes and scratchy throat since the beginning of the summer!! It sucks!

10. My new favorite find: Bliss cereal/granola bars from Special K! I LOVE the chocolate covered raspberry and it’s only 90 calories…. So yummy!

1. I started off the holiday weekend with no work on Thursday or Friday. It was so nice to have such a long weekend and not work!

2. Thursday night we went to a big BBQ at the Swenson’s house. It was fun to see everyone and watch the fireworks. We had a great time. Thanks Gav and Jess for such a good night!

3. Friday night we wanted to go and watch some fireworks so we ended up at the medical library parking lot at the U! It is right up next to the Wasatch Mountains. We sat on the roof of our car and watched all of the city fireworks from there. It was so much fun!

4. Saturday night we went to the Bee’s game with some friends. There was an awesome fireworks show after! It was great.

5. Sunday was my first time in Young Women’s. It was kind of weird to be back in there. I swear I just got out of YW like yesterday. Ha ha… Anyway it was fun to be there and I am excited to be there.

6. My headbands are doing really well so far. I have sold about 16 and made my first profit this weekend. I shipped some to the UK on Thursday from my etsy shop, so that was exciting. Anyway I have about 20 new colors/patterns that I am getting finished up so they can be posted. Thanks to everyone for their support and for helping me get the word out!! 7. My Dad came into town last night. We went to Bucca di Beppo for dinner. It was so yummy. My favorite dish was the ‘Penne Campofiore’ with whole wheat penne! It was delish!

8. There is a new dueling piano club here in Salt Lake called Keys on Main! I really really want to go. I obviously love the piano and I think this will be a really cool place to go.

9. Lately, I have been forcing myself to go to bed and get up early. I have been waking up at 6 and getting some abs/core workout on the ball and then getting to work early so I can get off early and go to the gym. So far so good so let’s keep this going!

10. This weekend I have a huge project going on for school. As seniors we have a requirement of getting 40 community service hours. So I am volunteering a total of 20 hours on Friday and Saturday in Ogden. It is for the Children’s Health Connection. I am excited to start back into something dental but not happy that it is 20 hours – but hey at least by then I will have pretty much all of my hours done!

1. Last weeks yummy new recipe turned out great. This week’s recipe is not new for us but it is one of our favorites so I thought I’d share for the upcoming holiday weekend:

Cowboy Caviar

4 Avocadoes (Diced)
2 cans Black Beans (Drained)
4 Large Tomatoes (Diced)
2 cans Sweet White Corn (Drained)
1 bunch of Cilantro (Finely Chopped – I use my food processor)
2 pkg. “Good Seasonings” Italian dressing dry mix (Prepared - box instructions)

Chop, Dice, Drain and Prepare ingredients. Mix everything together in one bowl and stir until everything is coated with the dressing. Serve with chips. (We like the Tostitos Lime or Multigrain tortilla chips)

2. My poor mommy had to go to the hospital Sunday night at 3 am. She had been having some chest pains that day but they got progressively worse, so she went to the ER. After a bunch of tests, x-rays and CT scans they found that she has pneumonia. After she gets some antibiotics in her I hope she gets feeling better!

3. Tonight is my last league game for my b-ball team. I am sad because we probably won’t start playing again until the fall. It has been fun playing with these two teams!

4. I spent last week starting up a blog store and etsy shop on for my headbands. I am finishing up some details and then I will post the links.

5. If you know me, you know I love fireworks! I am so excited for the 4th of July! I wish we could have fireworks at every holiday! I love that this is a 3 day workweek for me too! Yeah for having paid holidays!

6. I hate gas prices! I filled up lady (my red alero) for $55.00 this weekend! I almost cried!

7. Bobby played in a softball tourney last weekend with my cousin. It was fun to watch him play. They were able to play 4 games and lost 2. Bobby had to slide into home and his whole left leg is torn up. At least he was safe. Afterwards we had a yummy BBQ! Thanks Huffaker’s for such a fun weekend!
8. Sunday I was put in to the Young Women’s program. I am the mia-maid advisor. I am sad that Jess (my cousin’s wife) just got released, but it will be fun to go on Wednesday night activities with Bobby!

9. Sunday after church we drove up to Layton to see the Carr’s!! We haven’t seen them in for ever and we have never met Brinley. It was so fun to sit and talk and take a trip down memory lane! We wish they lived closer.

10. Sunday after hanging out with some other friends in Layton we left to drive back to Salt Lake (a 30 minute drive). We got onto I-15 at about 10:00 p.m. and we didn’t get home until 11:30! It took us an hour and a half! They had some construction going on and so they were taking 3 lanes down to 1. It was so ridiculous! So note to self- never take I-15 home from Layton late at night!

1. We love watching basketball and the NBA Finals were so exciting. Although the Celtics aren’t my number one team, I have always loved Paul Pierce so it was good to see him finally get a win. I am glad that KG and Allen were there too. It was such a good series and flat out the Celtics got it done!

2. Last week my league team lost again. I really think that if we can get enough players and if we play consistently together, than we have a shot at being good. But we can never seem to get more than 4 or 5 players there at one time. Anyway we have a game tonight so wish us luck.

3. My running goal has been halted. I am not in the groove right now. I really don’t have the energy after work to go and run in the heat. I need to just get my butt in gear and start going. I am so much happier when I exercise regularly. I just have to find that thing that will be the ultimate motivator. Any ideas??

4. We are saying goodbye to Josh and Whitney. They are some friends from our ward. They are on their way to Boston for Harvard Law School. Good luck on your new adventure and expect us to come and visit you and Fenway!!

5. We got too busy last week to try our new recipes so I am going to try them on Thursday. I will let you know how it goes.

6. Saturday night we went to the Salt Lake Bee’s game. We went with our good friends Dave and Amanda and we had a really good time. We just got the $6 general admission tickets and sat out in right field on the grass. It was really fun to be there. Bobby was so happy about getting a polish sausage with grilled peppers and onions. I on the other hand thought “ok I guess you have to eat a hotdog at the baseball game.” So I had a Chicago Dog – it was so disgusting. Even the smell was making me sick but I got through it with a large diet coke because it was $5! I am not sure I will ever eat another hotdog – even if I am at a baseball game! Ew…

7. I was asked if I would take a new calling at church on Sunday. So stay tuned for next week to hear what it is.

8. I have gotten a little “Martha Stewart-like” lately and it is really weird. Sunday we went to Bobby’s sister’s house for a Thanksgiving dinner in June. I was really excited and thought I would attempt pumpkin pie. So I got up on Sunday morning and made 2 pumpkin pies. First I thought I would get up and make the crusts and then make the filling after church, but I found out that you have to make pumpkin pies in an unbaked pie shell – so I spent the morning making the crust, rolling it out (which is harder than you would think), making the filling and baking them. They turned out really nice and they tasted yummy too. I was so proud of myself – I think Bobby was just proud I didn’t burn down our house.
Here is the best pie crust recipe ever: (Thanks Mom!)

3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup or more ice water

Mix well flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Using a pastry blender, cut the butter and shortening into the dry ingredients as quickly as possible until the mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the ice water over the mixture and combine with a fork until the dough holds together. If the dough seems too crumbly, add more ice water a tablespoon at a time. Turn 1/2 of the mixture onto wax paper, gather into a ball and press it into a thick flat disk about 5" in diameter. Bring the wax paper up around it and enclose the dough. Do the next 1/2 of dough and refrigerate both for 15 minutes to "relax" the dough for a more tender crust.

9. Like I said I have been a little bit too “Martha Stewarty” lately but I have been getting a bit bored lately. So on Friday I finished up some Scrapbooking and started a new project. I went to the sewing store (yes I know you would never even think I knew where one would be) and got some fabric and supplies to make these stinking cute headbands. I made the first one and hand sewed it together (I guess I learned more in Jr. High sewing than I thought…lol). After that I really knew that they would turn out cute so I borrowed my friend Gina’s sewing machine (she gave me the funniest look when I asked to borrow it and she said, “hey I thought you didn’t know how to sew.” I told her that I thought I could manage a straight stitch and getting the buttons on.) So here it goes on my new business adventure. They have a small piece of Velcro on the front inside seam so that it won’t slip off your head. (Pretty cool huh??) Anyway I have been wearing mine two ways 1) Just thick 2) I fold it in half and wear it so it is a thinner band. I am selling them. So let me know if you want one I can pretty much do any pattern/colors. [Right now I have black/white, brown and pink.]

10. Yesterday was Bobby’s mom’s birthday. I just wanted to tell her how amazing I think she is. I don’t get to be around her as often as I would like, but every time I see her I feel like I get to know her better. I learn the coolest stuff from her whether it is a trick about cooking, cleaning, a new recipe, a new product to try, something yummy from Hungry girl or something cool about Scrapbooking it is always so neat. I really am so lucky to have married into the best family ever. I couldn’t ask for a better family. Thanks Susan for all you do! You are such an amazing woman, thanks for being such a good example to me of what a great mom is!

1. Last Tuesday we had a league basketball game. I love playing and I am having a good time! That night after playing my game, I went with Bobby to play at the church with the guys he plays with. It was fun but my legs were not happy to play so much. My right calf locked up and I sprained it pretty good. It is now just starting to feel 100% again. I was sad because I was unable to run on it last week. Hopefully this week is better.

2. Bobby's family was in town this Father's Day weekend. We had a really good time seeing them and just hanging out. We went to lots of yummy places to eat and even spent Saturday morning at the Farmer's Market downtown. We wish they lived closer!

3. Here is the "new" recipe that I am trying this week. This new marinade on chicken and Parmesan red potatoes. I will let you know how it goes.

4. I got my BIG packet for school in the mail on Wednesday. Ten on Tuesday!

1. First this week is that in 6 days Bobby takes the LSAT! Yeah!! It will finally be over. Then we have to wait 3 weeks for his score!!

2. Last week was great to have my family in town. We were able to shop, visit family and celebrate Abi's birthday at Citris Grill! Yummy one of my favorites. It is not Bobby's favorite place so I never get to go there! It's one of those places he says it has "chick food."

3. So all for riding my bike to work. We came back from watching some of our friends kids in Layton and found that my bike was stolen!! I was so mad. It has sat out in our back yard under our patio for three years and nothing has ever happened. There is no room to put it in our house or in the shed so I kept it out there behind the table. So now neither of us have a bike since Bobby's was stolen last summer at the library downtown! I really really really hate our neighborhood! I am so ready to move after we graduate!!

4. I was only able to run about 4 miles last week but I was glad to get out and do it. This week is less busy so I should be able to get something in everyday!

5. Saturday I spent the whole 4 hours Bobby was taking his practice LSAT and did the yard work. I mowed the lawn, pulled weeds, trimmed all of the bushes in front of our apartments! It is a really long and hard job while you are by yourself. They are huge and prickly and I have pokes and scratches to show for it! I was glad to get it done though! It really needed to be done and we were actually home on a Saturday! We finally put in the swap cooler although we haven’t needed it yet and it doesn’t look like we’ll even need it this week. Oh well at least it’s in for July!

6. Saturday night we went with some friends from our ward to play Walleyball. We hadn’t been for a while so it was fun to play again.

7. Yesterday was Bobby's last basketball game for the league he played on. He has had fun playing and he did awesome yesterday. I love watching him play. He still plays 2 nights a week at our church.

8. Since it is Father's Day on Sunday I just want to tell my dad what an awesome example he is to me. He has been my best friend my whole life until Bobby came around - now he and my mom are just one notch down. I love when he comes into town for business and we get to hang out and go to dinner. He really is the most humblest, kindest and considerate person. I admire him for all that he does and for the kind of father that he is. I only hope to be able to grow up and be as good of a parent as he is! I love you Dad!

And for Bobby's Dad: Bob is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. I am so blessed to be a part of their family. I really married into the best family possible! Bob is such a strong force in Bobby's life and I don't know if we could get through this whole LSAT thing without him there talking to Bobby about it constantly! He is so aware of what we need and I really appreciate all that he does for us. So thanks Bob for being so amazing, I love you and I am truly grateful to be so closely associated with you!

9. I have started playing the piano a lot more now that I have more free time. I have almost finished composing 2 songs and I didn't realize how much I have missed it! Right now I am writing everything by hand and it is such a pain. I can't wait until one day I have a digital piano hooked up to Cake Walk or Finale (really cool composition software).

10. I have realized what an asset good teachers are. I have one professor at my school who is without a doubt one of the best I have ever had. She is not only a great instructor but she is there to listen and help you with anything you may need! We need more people like her in schools everywhere!

1. My Birthday was Fantastic! Here's how the day went:
I got to sleep in while Bobby took his practice LSAT test. Then at 11:00 he took me to go buy a kite - I was surprised because since March I have wanted to go and fly kites in the park and it has been so windy. Well after we bought a really cool kite at the hobby shop we went to Sugarhouse Park and tried our best to fly it! There was absolutely no wind! I was bummed but we ended up having fun just goofing around. We went to lunch at Paradise Bakery.... my favorite...yum! Then we went to Gateway to go birthday shopping! I couldn't find one thing that I wanted so we left empty handed! Oh well it was fun to walk around. Then we went home to take a nap. I cam home to a huge vase full of flowers including gerber daisies from my family! They were so B-E-A-utiful! Thanks you guys! Anyway then I opened my front door I had another surprise! My BFF Amanda and her mom had talked to Bobby without me knowing and they had decorated my house. It was full of balloons, streamers, confetti even a yummy fruit tart. It was so sweet of them and I loved being surprised. After a nice nap we tried to fly my kite again in the park by our house - but it didn't work!! :( Maybe there will be some wind this week?? After that we went to dinner at Chili's! It was such a great birthday! Thanks to everyone who called and sent cards and gifts and for Katie and Amanda taking me to lunch!! I love you all!

2. I was able to have an extended birthday because my favorite Aunt and Uncle had us up to celebrate my birthday on Sunday! They made the best chicken enchiladas and had an awesome chocolate ice-cream cake for us to eat! I am so spoiled and lucky to have the best family in the world! They also gave me some packages of Thank You cards (she knows me so well) and the cutest necklace and earrings! Aaron and Tasha were there and they gave me a yummy key lime pie candle!! Thanks you guys for everything and making my day so special! I love you Peggy and Tim!

3. My mom and siblings are coming down to Utah today for a couple of reasons – 1. It’s Abi’s birthday 2. Abi has to take some placement test at WSU so she can register for classes 3. It was my birthday AND 4. Because I talked them into it!! Anyway I am excited to see them again this week and we are planning on doing some fun things while they are here.

4. I finally got my Nike + iPod attachment set-up and working and I have made a goal of running 50 miles before July 21st! For right now I plan on running 1.5-2 miles per day. Wish me luck! Once I figure it all out you can check my progress at the bottom of my blog.

5. Bobby’s family is moving from Las Vegas! His dad is being transferred to Scottsdale, Arizona. We are sad they are moving further away and to a hotter place but we are still excited to go and visit! We will also be able to visit my cousin and her family that just moved to Phoenix! Scream yeah for roadtrips!!

6. I hate working at a desk job. Sure it’s nice to be able to do some homework during school, sure it’s nice to make my own schedule and sure it’s nice to have a low stress job but I hate sitting on my bum all day! I hate spending most of my day not doing anything worth while. It is a nice job for school, but I am so glad that I chose a career where I am doing something and using my hands and brain everyday!

7. Jed’s letters are getting really good. We are so proud of him. Yeah we miss him but we are so lucky to have him in our family. He is such a good kid and he always does the right thing!

8. I hate the high gas prices! I am glad that I am not driving to Ogden everyday anymore! I also recently decided that when gas hits $4 a gallon I am riding my bike to work. I think it will take me about 35-45 min to ride to work and I figure that it is totally worth it when I am paying $50.00 to fill up our small cars gas tanks!

9. Once again I hate the LSAT… The 16th is not coming fast enough! Oh well hopefully we survive!

10. Finally last but not least! Happy Birthday Abi!! (on Friday) I love you so much and I am so glad that you are moving close to me soon!

1. This weekend my family came down from Wyoming to hang out for Memorial Day - we are glad they made it here safely, considering the last trip and the flat tire this trip. It was really fun to get together for a holiday other than Thanksgiving or Christmas. We went to breakfast yesterday morning with all of the Breinholt-side clan. We had a good time.

2. Friday night I was able to see my really good friend Shalise and her husband Jason. We were room-mates our first 2 years at UVSC. They recently moved from Utah about 6 months ago, to Bellingham, Washington. It was so good to see her and catch up! Love ya Shaliseey!

3. I signed a new team up for a basketball league and people have been dropping out left and right. I need 3 more players - or we are going to have to pay more money :( So if you know anyone that wants to play on Tuesday nights let me know.

4. We are putting up the swamp cooler today. Seeing as by the end of the week it just gets hotter and hotter!

5. This new budget has been great. It has been 4 weeks. I also started this new thing where we make a menu each week and one of the nights I make a new recipe. I go grocery shopping once a week for everything I need and I only have a set amount of money each week to spend. So far it has been working really really well. Not being in school with homework each night is what allows me to make dinner regularly now. (Side story: Last Thursday's new recipe was supposed to be eggplant parmesan. I came home and was getting everything out and realized that I must have left a bag at the grocery store with the eggplant, cheese and some tomatoes. I was so mad but thought maybe they would be able to help me. So I dug my receipt out of the trash (eww...I know) and went to Wal-mart. They have a left grocery book but apparently mine did not get written down on the list so they couldn't help me. Which I understand, but I was so mad. So we came home and ate leftover chicken enchiladas instead!)

6. I am feeling a bit scared to go back to school the very end of August. I know that it is a long way away but I am getting nervous. I love the fact that I don't have homework or anything to worry about; but, I am just afraid that I am forgetting all of the skills I just learned the last two semesters. I have been contemplating reading my big dental hygiene book this summer to stay up on things somewhat. We’ll see if that happens.

7. My house is almost completely deep cleaned. I have needed to get the Spring cleaning done but last week was busy so I had to clean in stages. So Thursday I did the bathroom, Friday the Kitchen, Saturday I mopped all of the floors, yesterday I did the bedroom and laundry and so today all I have left is the front room and study. It feels good to get it cleaned really well!

8. And of course I have to put a plug in about the LSAT – since it runs our life right now! Anyway we are down to 3 weeks! And then it is over! Yeah!! Well if you could keep praying and sending good karma Bobby’s way that would be great.

9. My Birthday is Saturday. Yesterday Bobby took me to REI and I picked out some stuff that I wanted. It’s not a surprise this year and I didn’t want much, but I love the stuff I am getting.

10. I told Bobby that all I really wanted to do for my birthday was go to dinner that night and during the morning/day hike (we would bike it if Bobby's Gary Fisher didn't get stolen last summer!) the canyon [maybe even the backside of Timp??] and have a picnic. So hopefully the weather is good, it's supposed to be 82 degrees!

We have officially consolidated The Pyper Blogging World! I have been thinking of doing it for some time now but just couldn't bring myself to press the blue delete button. It's seemed so permanent. But I mustered up enough courage to do it today.

We are now down to 2 blogs - this one and my dental hygiene blog. With our family blog I figured since Bobby never contributes, I will just have to post things once in a while about him on my blog.

And with my health blog - well I figure I can still say the same things on this blog if I'd like.

Ha ha I love that this post says Sunday's date... I started a post about Abi's graduation and saved it thinking "Oh I will just wait for ten on Tuesday"...ha ha. Oh well I really did post it on Tuesday...

1. SURPRISE - Sunday was Abi's graduation! For about a month now we have been telling her that we have a big church activity that we couldn't miss - so we weren't coming to her graduation! Needless to say she was really ticked. Well everyone knew but her that we were planning on coming up to surprise her. We ended up leaving on late Friday afternoon and were able to get to Gillette by 11:30 p.m. She was so surprised!

2. We also brought my Aunt (my mom's sister) and Uncle that had never been up to Gillette to visit. It was a total surprise because we didn't tell my mom that they were coming. It was great she started screaming and jumping and crying! Gotta love those surprises!

3. Saturday night we went to the "Chophouse" for dinner. I know the name makes is sound not that appetizing but it was a great celebration meal!

4. Tonight is my first league basketball game with my new team. Wish us luck!

5. I worked a full 8 hours today and it went by a lot faster than I anticipated. Recently I have only been able to make it about 7 or 7.5 hours without going crazy. I guess today was just busier than normal.

6. I got my new glasses from Costco today! I needed new frames since my prescription changed.

7. I don't like American Idol - but I am hoping that David Archuleta from Utah wins. I guess it's just a state pride thing!

8. I bought a plane ticket to go in July to see my cousins that live there. I lived with them the summer of 2004 and have been dying to get back out.

I just wanted to give a shout out and let everyone know how excited we are for Kay! She called me and told me tonight that she is 12 weeks along and due the end of November. This is the only picture I have of us together. Love you KK!

So I decided that rather than posting every once in a while I am going to post "10 things on Tuesday " each week. I will still add more things if needed on other days but at least this gets me posting once a week.

1. We are loving the playoffs right now! GO JAZZ! Our good friends Amanda and Dave are big fans too so we have been watching most games with them.

2. My B-ball league is over! We won our last game and it was nice to end on a good note. I always wore these lucky socks that Amanda and I bough at Target. We are looking for more for our collection but it seems that they aren't as popular or cool as we think that are....ha ha. Well Amanda and I start up with another team on the 20th. 3. Abi (my sis) is graduating!! She graduates on Sunday and she plans to come to Weber for college in August. GO WILDCATS... I am still trying to convince her that Dental Hygiene is the way to go! :)

4. Every night this week we are going to be in Layton babysitting some family friends kids while they are on a cruise. They are older 17, 15 and 11 - so we are just there to make sure they are fed and to stay over night. It is always weird to me to go from worrying about bobby and I to worrying about 3 kids. I am glad that they are good kids.

5. This week I officially started working full-time. I have been dreading it since school ended but truly I have nothing better to do with my time (other than go to the gym and try to get some scrapbooking done) I guess I better make some money.

6. Today is my friend Amanda and Kay's birthday's! Happy Birthday you two! No I know you are not turning "65" but I love this cake!

7. I really hate driving in traffic! I am going to have to drive in morning and evening rush hour this week because of the daily trek back and forth to Layton. Bobby will be coming with me tonight and Thursday so I think I will survive. But just barely though!

8. I am really needing to do something new with my hair. I am trying to grow it out but it is in that in between stage where it just sucks! Anyway I think I just need to make an appointment and get it figured out so I am not miserable every morning! I really wish we were going to Vegas soon and I would hold off. Reason being is there is this stylist out there that does Susan and Laura's hair and she is awesome!

9. I have mixed emotions about my upcoming 23rd Birthday! It is at the end of this month on the 31st. I am excited because I LOVE BIRTHDAY'S (with cake and balloons); however, I am 23?? When the heck did I get so old. Also love this website http://www.pinkcakebox.com/ - too bad it is in NJ!!

10. Bobby and I are so ready for him to be done with the LSAT. He is under so much stress getting ready to take it. He studies for it every day 8-5 like a full-time job and then on Tuesday's and Wednesday's he has his prep class. He is such a hard worker and I am grateful that he is so motivated. He takes it a month from Friday - and we both are just ready to get it over with!!

I still have nothing important or inspiring to say but I thought I should give it a shot since it has been a while since I blogged and my last posts weren't really what you call original or stellar by any means. So this one is just random stuff...

Bobby and I have been trying to get out each week and do things together that are fun and not just the regular run errands and grocery shop, etc... We really have a couple of things that we just really like doing:

We have been golfing for the past 2 weekends. It has been good to get out. Both times were really scary but hopefully things will get better and I can get back into the "swing of things" - ha ha no pun intended. I really enjoy playing and I am glad that we can do it together. I am getting better and I am thinking of maybe doing this women's class that they have at the course right by my house. But I haven't decided if it is worth the money yet.

We also like shooting at the gun range. It is only about $8 so it's cheaper than golfing but you still have to buy the ammo. Anyway Bobby went to the gun show recently and bought 1,000 rounds for a good price. So I think we have enough to last us a while.

We love BASKETBALL. We both play in a league. I think we both like playing as much as we like watching each other. We are suckers for watching it on TV too. We love March Madness and the Playoffs (especially when our home town team is playing in them. GO JAZZ!) Bobby said to me the other day that we have to have 5 kids so we have a starting line-up. I laughed and told him dream on - but it's a nice thought.

We went to the temple Thursday and had an awesome time. We are really going to try and get there more regularly this summer now that things have slowed down. The LSAT is coming up on June 16th for those of you who don't know and it is getting to be crunch time. So we need all the prayers, fasting and good karma you can send our way!

Well other than that. We were planning on doing some kind of trip this summer but Bobby decided that after the LSAT he is taking some second session classes to get his credits in early. This means that we probably will only get in some camping (which we love) and maybe a trip to California in August right before school starts.

Well right now it's raining and lightening and I am ready to leave work so hopefully I'll make it home!

I am done with school for the summer! Yeah! I feel like I can breathe. I also feel like I have so much time to do stuff. I have so many things that I want to get done this summer so I am hoping that I can get them all accomplished now that I have more time!

Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive and understanding and especially to Bobby who put up with me all of these months.

I am so boring so I have to keep doing these Tag's to keep my blog somewhat updated..... sorry I am so lame....

I have been wanting to post something new, but life is not that exciting with just work and school right now so I was glad that my friend Becca tagged me on this one so here it goes. I did post something I little similar to this a while ago but took out the things I have already blogged about.

10 years ago:

I was 12 and was a Central Davis Jr. High thinking I was the coolest kid around. Ha ha Jr. High was great until I got into high school and realized it was so much better. Anyway I was a huge geek I was in every academic club possible. I loved, foreign language (spanish of course), choir and I was 4’ 11” until I was almost done with 9th grade! Oh how things have changed since then!!

5 years ago:

Finishing up and getting ready to graduate high school. I was in a crappy relationship with a crappy boyfriend. Yet again I see how things have changed so drastically!

5 months ago:

Just into the Dental Hygiene program 3 months and wondering if I would make it out alive!
