Tuesday we had an earthquake (5.8) in Mineral, VA that rocked our world up here in the North. I was at work on the 2nd floor and B and Layla were home. We are all doing fine, but there was some significant damage done to some
sites in D.C. and also some minor damage to the
D.C. LDS Temple.
Now Hurricane Irene was supposed to blast through the D.C. metro area and be scary, but we just ended up with some wind taking down a few branches and it raining consistently through the night. Outside our front window...
Needless to say, we are alive and survived Mother Nature's anger!

I came to your blog to comment and saw your blog makeover. Way cute, I love it. And we're glad you're safe. I called B after the earthquake, but didn't hear back. Tell him he should call his sister once in a while :)
